我要為我犯下的罪向中國人民道歉。對任何人的冒犯、侮辱從來都不是我的本意，我現在已經認識到我的言論是非常不恰當的。
我想要聲明，我對中國人民和這個國傢懷有極大的敬意和尊重。
我也要向我的球隊切爾西和所有的同伴道歉，抱歉我的行為讓大傢失望瞭。我完全理解，我的言行代表著切爾西，我從未想要引發這些尷尬，或是不尊重的行為。
I would like to apologise to the people of China for the offence I have caused. It was never my intention to insult or offend anyone at all and I now realise that my comments were totally inappropriate.
I wish to state that I have tremendous respect and admiration for the Chinese people and their country.
I would also like to apologise to my club Chelsea and all my companions who I have let down by my posts. I fully understand the responsibility of representing my club and it was never my intention to cause this embarrassment nor disrespect.
