You're let down because we used to run an iso offense. Terrible for a playoff setting. The fact that we made an ECF is incredible really, with how stagnant it was. It's much better now, more 3 pointers, more ballmovement, the extra pass, DeRozan is moving much more offball and has taken on a more playmaking role to get others involved and much less iso.If we lose in the playoffs this season it'll be because we faced a superior opponent, not because of a let down imo

TBF, Cleveland would do that with Kyrie and LeBron, and they went to the Finals 3 straight years. Even the Warriors, when they start getting shaky with the rest of their offense against a keyed in defense, have been known to slow down, let KD iso some dudes, and get things rolling again with a few buckets. Isos can still find their moment in the game from guys who can just go out there and exploit mismatches in pressure situations where the opposing defense is locked in and taking away all the typically easier points.
